For the bulk polymers their structure, respectively the monomeric units constituting the polymer structure, were proven by specific structural analysis methods such as solid-state NMR, FTIR or MS.<\/p>\n<p>The new monomers\/polymers obtained have the ability to adhere to surfaces such as glass, TiO<sub>2<\/sub> nanoparticles or magnetic nanoparticles, which was demonstrated by AFM, zeta potential, thermogravimetric analysis, XPS and electron microscopy.<\/p>\n<p>The optical behaviour of the polymers as well as TiO<sub>2<\/sub> or magnetite nanoparticles was demonstrated by UV-Vis and fluorescence both in solution and by confocal fluorescence microscopy. For magnetic nanoclusters obtained by solvothermal reaction, the biocompatibility was studied on 3 types of cells, HUVEC, A375 and fibroblasts. The clusters are internalized in all these cells, showing fluorescence depending on the combination of cluster type\/cell type.
