Objectives and stages

The main objective of this project is to investigate the intermolecular interactions of some bioactive ligands and their competiting binding with supramolecular receptors, based on spectroscopic and calorimetric techniques. This kind of investigation represents one of the mainresearch direction in the so called molecular recognition domain Specific objectives:

Specific objectives

1. Characterizing bioligand – macromolecular receptor interactions using UV/vis ,fluorescence and RMN.

2. The study of bioligand – macromolecular receptor intermolecular interactions using ITC.

3. Bioligand – macromolecular receptor interactions investigated by NMR relaxometry.

4. Investigation of the competitive binding processes between bioligands and macromecules
