{"id":86,"date":"2024-11-20T10:37:49","date_gmt":"2024-11-20T10:37:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.itim-cj.ro\/PNCDI\/insbioration\/?page_id=86"},"modified":"2024-11-20T10:37:50","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T10:37:50","slug":"abstract-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.itim-cj.ro\/PNCDI\/insbioration\/en\/abstract-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Abstract"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Society&#8217;s needs require replacing energy-intensive or hazardous substance-intensive processes and reducing waste by using fully recyclable or biodegradable materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project addresses this problem by proposing a universal platform for bio-inspired surface and interface design based on dopamine, a substructure of the adhesive proteins used by mussels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A multi-disciplinary consortium of researchers and an industrial partner aims to develop a portfolio of scalable technologies for the &#8216;green&#8217; production of materials for selected applications (anti-pathogenic coatings, biodegradable energy sources and polymer-metal hybrids as examples from a wide range of applications), their recycling or biodegradation and their transfer to mass production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outcome of the project will enable European manufacturers to create sustainable production processes and a circular economy of these materials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Society&#8217;s needs require replacing energy-intensive or hazardous substance-intensive processes and reducing waste by using fully recyclable or biodegradable materials.
