Text Box: Conducting polymers are the most recent generation of polymers and they offer a unique combination of properties not available from any other known materials, i.e the electrical and optical properties of inorganic metals or semiconductors and the mechanical properties and chemical variability of

Over last few years, nanocomposites based on conjugated polymers become an area of particular interest. The combination of conjugated polymers and inorganic magnetic nanoparticles represents a new strategy to obtain nanocomposites with the specific properties required by a wide range of applications like: biotechnology, electromagnetic interference shielding and microwave absorbing, chemical sensors [6]. Novel properties of nanocomposites can be derived from the successful combination of the characteristics of parent constituents into a single material.

Nanoparticles that possess magnetic properties offer exciting new opportunities in biomedicine including improving the quality of magnetic resonance imaging, hyperthermic treatment for malignant cells, site-specific drug delivery, magnetic separation and also the recent research interest of manipulating cell membranes.

The preparation of superparamagnetic polymeric nanoparticles consisting of a magnetite core and polymeric shell represents a novel recently reported approach [8]. The nanocomposites polymer/magnetic nanoparticles can be easily provided with biofunctionality and offer great promise applications in biotechnology
