Summary |
The project Strengthening the institutional performance of INCDTIM Cluj-Napoca, acronym CONSOL-ITIM, runs from January 2022 to June 2024, with a total budget of 6.4 million lei. The main activities to be implemented within the project focus on: i) increasing INCDTIM's involvement in major international projects as well as its international visibility; ii) stimulating activities dedicated to accessing European RDI funds and technology transfer; iii) supporting the mobility of research staff, especially young researchers; iv) upgrading and maintaining the research infrastructure; v) supporting patenting and open access publishing; vi) intensifying and diversifying communication and promotion activities on three distinct levels: the scientific community, the business environment and the general public. CONSOL-ITIM aims to contribute substantially to the institutional development of INCDTIM by financially supporting the following output categories: · Publications in high-impact journals supported by the programme - minimum 40 (25 in Q1) · Mobilities / internships - 50 man x month; · Proposals for European Horizon Europe and/or similar RDI projects - minimum 4; · Contribution to the stimulation/training of young researchers - at least 75% of mobilities/internships are for researchers up to 40 years old; · At least 10 new jobs - increase the success rate in RDI project competitions; · Development of research infrastructure - investment in new infrastructure (30% of the budget) and replacement/repair/revision of existing infrastructure (12% of the budget); · New research directions developed in emerging or niche areas - 2; · Research directions in line with EU and national priorities supported by the project - 5; · Support participation in large international collaborative projects - 2, ATLAS@LHC CERN and DarkSide 20k; · Support for organisational innovation - strengthening the potential to access European R&D funds; aligning with international best practice rules in the field of technology transfer; · Support international patenting activity - at least 3 international patent applications; · Increase visibility by organising events to communicate outstanding results, promote science in society and establish new contacts with business - at least 5. |
