Project's Objective:
Reaching a TRL level of 4 on the TRL scale as starting from TRL 2, with the design and proof-of-concept of the microfluidic portable device for pathogens' rapid SERS detection and ending with its validation in laboratory conditions, proving its practical potential and use.
Objectives:
- Development of the experimental setup.
- Optimization and validation of the SERS detection methodology by using the developed device.
- Rapid SERS detection and identification of pathogens by using the portable device.
- Validation of the experimental demonstrator and intellectual property rights registration.
Estimated results:
- Design of the microfluidic flow cell.
- Microfluidic flow cell connected to a flowing system.
- Functional experimental demonstrator.
- Optimized experimental parameters for the SERS detection with the developed microfluidic system.
- Validated detection method using the developed microfluidic system in laboratory conditions.
