O.1 Establish the protocol of preparing samples with properties optimized for the proposed ss-NMR experiments: SiO2 nanoparticles coated with selectively 2H/13C/15N labeled polydopamine (PDA).

O.2 Characterize the PDA – substrate interactions at atomic scale by ss-NMR on selectively 2H/13C/15N labeled PDA deposited on silica nanoparticles and derive a consistent model capable to explain the strong polydopamine adhesion.

O.3 Create a self-sustaining multidisciplinary research team specialized on characterization of heterogeneous / disordered materials based on isotopic technologies.
