Specific objectives of the partnership

of the present Complex Project are determined by the proposed activities in order to allow the implementation of the obtained results at the economic agents in Romania, as described in the Project Realization Plan

  • Project 1: Integrated gamma irradiation eco-nanotechnologies for textile and leather materials with improved properties through disinfection, sterilization, grafting, crosslinking
  • Project 2: Composite materials based on inorganic nanoparticles, functionalized with polymers, deposited on textiles and leather by eco-nanotechnologies, for the realization of surfaces with advanced properties - MC-ECO-NT
  • Project 3: Integrated multifunctional treatment solutions for textile and leather materials for the production of advanced products (antistatic, antimicrobial, hydrophobic) - AAH_TEXPEL
  • Project 4: Development of eco-nano-technologies for surface functionalization of textile and leather materials by cold plasma treatment at atmospheric pressure
  • Project 5: Development of advanced materials and coating eco-nanotechnologies for creating superhydrophobic and amphiphobic surfaces for textiles and leather

Project 4

INCDTIM, IFIN-HH, INCDFTP, UB, ICMPP (Project responsible: Dr. Roșu Marcela-Corina) Development of eco-nano-technologies for surface functionalization of textile and leather materials by cold plasma treatment at atmospheric pressure

R & D and Innovation Activities under Project 4:

Development of an experimental model of cold plasma treatment at atmospheric pressure (in open atmosphere) of textile/leather materials to activate their surface

Preparation and characterization of graphene/nanoparticles TiO2, SiO2 with photocatalytic properties applicable to the textile and leather processing industry

Testing of self-cleaning properties of textile/leather materials with photocatalytic-coating on reference pollutants (methylene blue, coffee, wine, etc.) under UV/sunlight irradiation

Elaborating an eco-nanotechnology with transferable potential for obtaining textile/leather materials with improved photocatalytic properties as a result of the application of innovative techniques and materials

Obtaining nanocomposites based on graphene and nanoparticles with antimicrobial properties (TiO2 - Ag/Cu) for functionalization of textile and leather materials

Participation in activities related to the elaboration of technologies for the functionalization of textile and leather materials by cold plasma treatment
