AIM OF PROJECT

1. synthesis of new POM clusters based on Mo, W, V and other transitional elements with selective catalytic activity for lignin oxidation  without affecting the polyzaharidic  complex (cellulose fiber).

2. physico-chemical characterization of POM compounds; catalytic activity and selectivity determination in lignin oxidation reaction.

3. advanced studies of bleaching process using  POM synthesized catalysts and parameters determination of the bleaching process.

4. total recovery and re-usage of the used POM in the bleaching cycle.

5. development of new, ecological friendly laboratory technologies for the bleaching of cellulose and other natural fiber using new synthesized POM.

6. composition determination of the bleaching residual solution.

7. studies of the cellulose recovery process from different paper and cardboard wastes using synthesized POM

8. qualitative analysis of the cellulose bleached using POM agent.
