RESEARCH STEPS

 

     Step I: Evaluation of catalytic oxidation possibilities of natural polymers using POM and synthesis of two such catalysts containing  Mo, W and V.

          CO – Evaluation of lignin catalytic oxidation processes using POM compounds.

          P1 – Synthesis of POM compounds containing Mo, W and V with high activity in oxidation reactions.

          P2 – Estimation of cellulosic pulp bleaching possibilities by lignin oxidation with POM compounds.

          P3 – Estimation of natural fibers (flax, hemp) bleaching possibilities by lignin oxidation with POM compounds.

 

     Step II: POM physico-chemical properties study correlated with catalytic activity.

          CO – Determination of catalytic activity in the lignin oxidation reaction with the synthesized POM compounds.

          P1 – The physico-chemical characterization of prepared POM compounds.

 

      Step III: Lignin oxidation process study using POM compounds.

          CO - The reaction parameters determination for oxidation of cellulosic pulp lignin with POM compounds.

          P1 - The reaction parameters determination for oxidation of natural fiber with POM compounds.

          P2 - Study of the influence of lignin oxidation with POM compounds on bleached cellulosic pulp characteristics.

          P3 - Study of the influence of lignin oxidation with POM compounds on bleached natural fibers characteristics.

 

      Step IV: The study of redox reactions of synthesized POM compounds.

           CO – Redox processes study by cyclic voltammetry upon POM compounds.

           P1 – Regeneration process study of the POM catalysts involved in cellulosic pulp bleaching.

 

      Step V: Ecological technology for cellulosic pulp and natural fibers bleaching by oxidation with POM compounds.
